Focus Or Defocus In Meditation

MeditationIn the initial stages of your movement in spiritual you should first focus on getting to your meditative goal. To achieve that take any personal object and concentrate on it with open eyes and later they will close on their own. Keep your focus on that object. Be it a small image of God, a personal object or anything that gets you peace. Concentrate on it. This will teach you to go inside that object.
When you progress in meditation then you will learn to Defocus. It means you have entered that object and now you are surrounded by it. You become small and later you become big.
You will then surround everything.
These are simple steps in meditation.
