When you measure yourself in comparison with another human being, you are degrading yourself. You are unique and the only one. There is no other like you. You can use the idea of comparison to set higher standards but not to pull yourself down. Though the Self is One, its manifestations are numerous. They are incomparable. Gold is one but ornaments are many and one bangle cannot be same as the other. There will always be a difference and uniqueness. You can rise above the barrier set by your mind to reach the height of your glory or fall below the set mark and feel miserable and defeated. You have a choice to rise or fall or not to set any mark but just strive hard!
